html price guide

so here i am again asking saxp for code help.
this time i need to make a price calculator for a car hire website
it needs to look sort of like this

start date : |drop box to chose|

end date : |drop box to chose|

start time:|drop box to chose|

end time |drop box to chose|

days:|will say how many days the hire is for|

Price:|shows price|


long story short i had a small amount of html code knowledge so help my boss set the site up but now he seem to think i know everything!!. I have looked in to using the onchange: command. I'm so confused. help me saxp.!

Have a look at jQuery and jQuery UI, It has calendar plugins.
Be a massive dropdown list if you tried to put all dates in

Is this to be stored in a database when done or just printed off.

thanks percy. and alex im not to sure what my boss want's done with it yet. we have a database we can put it into.I think its more a price guide, then they ring/email us.

you might be better off using jsp.

you can try the website called hotscripts. they have a database full of free - priced stuff in various formats! i.e php, js .net etc so take a look. I'f it's running from a database and needs to store info i.e bookings I'd reccomend asp .net and/ or php really.
