Does anyone know how i would access another computers files on a different computer in my home?

You need to set up shared folders and also have a home network.

I do it through 3 macs and an iMac

Find the IP address of the computers: use Angry IP scanner to find this once you've done that and got the IP of the computer you want. Go to run and run to \\**enter ip address here**\

This will bring up all available shared folders on that PC...

All of the above is providing you are on windows and are a member of the same Workgroup.
