i thought it was free.... but you get charged a % if you withdraw money from your paypal acc to a Bank account ie under 30£ its 2£
iv just been given 135£ from ebay member for an item, and it says -£4.50 FEES AFTER HAVING a quick look it says i get charged for LETTING! him send me money from a bank account, surely thats not right.... so even tho im letting him SEND me money i get charged for it? is that right?

if you get sent money, u will get a fee. If you send money to a seller, he/she will get charged. If you withdraw under £50, you will get a fee.

The minor upside is buyer protection through Paypal, if something goes chebs up then at least you've got a better chance of getting your money back.
The fees are a bit mean, but then again Paypal's convenient. Win some, lose some! Ah well.

You do sometimes if they have funds in there paypal account. Look for the thread of the kid has ripped everyone off. They are having to take him to a small claims court because paypal wouldn't sort it
