Had both, currently have a PS3, imo most things are better except online play, XBL is far better.

You cant make a thread like this, and then wonder why "fan-boys" raid the thread shouting 360 is better, ps3 is better etc.

Like many have said, it comes down to personal preference, I was in a pickle as I didnt know which one I wanted, an 80Gb PS3 or an 360 Elite.

Ive owned a PS3 for over a year now, has frozen now and then but then again so has my iPod, But I dont go chucking it out and slagging it off, other than that.. No problems!

i've had my ps3 for just under a year and as above have had a couple of freezes mainly when online or trying to connect to servers etc.

my brothers got the 360... and i personally prefer xbox just because and as everyone will tell you the online experience is way better.

i agree totally. plus i think the pads better ... never been a fan of the ps pad myself... always felt like some buttons were not as easily reached ... even when the likes of the n64 and dream cast were out i preffered those pads over the PS... and xbox seems to load quicker etc,, and yeah online play is brill... my mate plays his ps3 and seems to have a fair deal of glitches.

If you want it for online play then without a doubt get a Xbox, since the quality of service (Although you have to pay) is so much better.

But if your not fussed get the PS3 also to note ... the Blu Ray player which is bril if your a techy!

Both are really good and both have flaws only big difference is the blue ray player in the ps3
