They were only testing the 3d tech on the PS3..Very unlikely it will come to the Ps3 for the public, but the PS4 may have it..
Personally it doesnt do too much for me..

ps3 is more then capible of producing 3d so why would a ps4 be needed?

I'm not saying its not capable but they will more than likely implement it on the PS4 when that arrives..It will be a huge selling point for the new console..

Sky HD boxes could produce a 3D image but do you think any of the large companies would not release a new product that they could flog us? Why release a free software update when you can charge another £400 for a new box....
