Go to TOOLS>>FOLDER OPTIONS>>VIEW>> and then UNTICk, SHOW FILE EXTENSIONS, view the songs again at the end it will say something such as .mp3 or .wma or .ima (i thinks this it whats they well be iirc) let us know what they say, also try downlaod nero
