hi every1 i have just got a westy 4 my wife but the brakes are shit so i wnt to put discs on the back , do i need a full new axel , or is it easyer than that will get pics up2mz 4 every1 .

just as easy to change the whole thing only 4 bolts holding it on and you may need new brake lines and handbrake cable, i have 1 going cheap with 2 new pins if ur intrested pm me

Discs are only on VTR/VTS axles if I remembly correctly so yes you will need a full rear axle for discs.

you will be best with a vtr axle as vts have abs where yours and vtrs wont

I think you might be making a lot of work for yuor self, the rear brakes do very little, especially on a short wheelbase, llight weight car such as our saxo's. Look into getting some decent pads for the front and give the rear brakes a service.
