Default Suggestion

Lets get rid of the for sale and wanted area as available to non paid members. i think this could help rid the scammers off here as it will need a verified address to confirm who you are.

Or just get rid of it altogether

Make people pay to be scammed? lol
Sounds like it may work, but I thought someone already had scammed being a member? Might be wrong though he paid for membership then cancelled the money or something

Who wouldnt mind spending £10 and become a member to scam someone out of £100?

Doesnt get around the problem to me! Just my opinion though.

you have to verify your address first so that could combat the scammers.

actually ive had an awesome idea. what if you need a verification code to input to access the forsale section. this code will only be able to be input if you receive the welcome pack as it can be sent out to the address provided and this could be verification as to the address given on sign up.

problem still remains that we technically cant do jack with the address details unless the police directly come looking for it.

Those who get scammed tend not to follow it up to the full

Unfortunately you are entirely accuracte in your predicitions.

It would be a shame to remove the for sale section completely but we have talked about it more than once

i think the forum should not take any responability for people being scammed as people should know that there are people out there who will do it to get that little extra cash.

possably at the top of the forum

a beware thread made by a mod

so when people sell things or buy things then they are aware of the correct ways to do it and what precautions to take

if they get scammed then its their own fault and can not blast thread after thread on the website.

everyone should now what to expect and be more cautious when buying from someone you do not know..

the site in the last week alone has had thread after threads made about this..
they should take the responsibility of being scammed on their chin as they were foolish enough to do it in the first place.
