Elite Problems :( - Saxperience

My elite is 4 months old and already have problems with it! Sometimes when the xbox is turned on it wont read any disc's at all, but if i turn it off and unplug everything then put it back together again it works first time!
Its done this 3 times in as many days. Does anyone no of what could be wrong?

if its only 4months old take it back to the store you got it from.

Mine did this for ages! I didnt bother returning it. And about say 9 months I eventually got the RROD.

When I sent it into Microsoft they fixed the RROD and disc read problem.

My advise would be to call Microsoft and report the issue.

Do you get the same issues when installing games to the hard drive?

Your warranty covers it for now. Get it sorted out now, or you'll regret it.

thanks for all the advice, do I take it back to game because of it's age or microsoft? I haven't got any games on my hard drive so I wouldn't be able to test it. Seems ok tonight tho.

I have the exact same problems.....been getting worse and worse, now it wont play anything at all.

Just been and registered it on microsoft.......booked in for repair now
