am i right in thinking that any pc headsets will work on the xbox or nay?

this is why I ask, I used to be a hardc0re pc gamer and everyone went on about certain top brand headsets, but i bought a set of microsft lifechat ones and they were excellent and only £20. Lasted years too

yes the jack is smaller them a standard headphone jack. I would go and just buy a Turtle Beach headset as there so good, once you use them you can't go back to standard speakers being able to hear which way the people are running round building ETC helps so much.

I can't justify spending that money on a headset , turtle beach the only headsets for sale that fit the xbox?

I think Turtle Beach X1 are the cheapest with a mic. You could try setting on x box sound and tick sound out on headphones or something similar and maybe plug them into the headphone socket on the TV? May work I'm not 100% sure though if still come out of TV.

MLG make their own too.
Anywayy like a say tho Turtle Beaches are most popular tbhh
