im currently thinking of getting some weller's? however the wheels im looking at are 10kg each?

Race line rl7s still get my vote, when you can find used ones.

Rota Attack are a good shout if you can find them, sub 5kg's.

Also, Dezent (or however they spell it) do some cheapo "lightweight" rims that weigh in a smidge over 6kg's, but for the price theyre a good buy..

Team Dynamics 1.2's, or whatever, are allover the used market.

steelies have crap brake coverage and cooling, they have also been known to flex from the heat.

Light isnt always the best either, espec if you are someone who likes clipping the apex and the track has a rather agressive curb. Sometimes a superlightweight wheel can be a bit more brittle.

Never know there were issues of material integrity? Are you telling me steelies have 'broken' on track?

I'm abit confused 'brake coverage' but I agree with the cooling. Surely you have to be running a big brake setup (plus 300mm?) to generate enough heat to flex a steel wheel... idk.

Not doubting you, just want explaining.

Steroids generally bend and buckle, I'm on about some super light cheap alloys sometimes fracture which isn't great.

Brake coverage - you can't run big brakes behind then with ease, the disc size isn't the issue as such but the calliper.

Pointless weighing wheels with tyres as every wheel has different wheel weights..

weights are measured in grams, 1kg = 1000grams. you arent going to use a 1000grams of weight to balance a wheel lmao|!!!!!!
