Not gonna bother with a remap for just an induction kit and backbox. Depending on what route I take someone offers half price map if you buy Miltek from them.

Either way it'll probs end up at AMD in Northampton for a remap

Apparently these Duratec engines in the Fiesta have a massive restriction on the intake and in the exhaust pipe by removing these you go straight from 150bhp to nearer 170bhp, did you identify these or is it an old wives tale??

Does it go much faster now? I had one of these a few years ago, I loved it to bits but always wanted more power and didn't want to invest that much money on an 'experiment'

Thats the kit my mate uses on his MR200 so obviously flows well enough.

To the guy above, I reckon with this engine its the mild cams and the restrictive inlet manifold I believe that holds them back.
OP are you thinking about relocating the pas tank? Have heard these can boil the fluid pretty easily due to location over the exhaust.

My friend used to have one and full system induction etc and a remap but was limited to 165bhp unless you uprate the cams (what the mapping place told him.

Really like these, making good progress mate!

No intention at the min to move the PAS as it doesn't get driven to hard at the minute.

Most restrictive parts is the air filter, flexi pipe and the smaller TB which can be upgraded to 60mm

Not quite, would need Manifold, sports CAT and generic mountune remap for that

Is a 4-2-1 tubular manifold standard on these?
The throttle body on the MR 200 looks huge when I last had a gander at it

Pretty sure they fit the 60mm TB on the MR200 from the 48mm IIRC, so a fair stepup!

I quite liked my st, until it fell apart lol.

If you do end up fitting a new manifold removing the scuttle makes it a lot easier. If you are on one of the fiesta sites I also did a guide for the inlet removal if you ever do go that way as well.
