Lifestyler, alrightttttttttey then.

Lol quit trying to patronise people man, you don't know me.
I think I get enough food for thought considering half of my mates are BDC drivers. Cheers though.

I'm not trying to patronise anyone. I really don't see where you're getting that from..
I'm just saying from experience, that's all.
Cool story bro, I know people in BDC who are currently 2nd in the standings.
Pull your head out of your arse and stop being so defensive.

You said it was for skidding, I asked if it had been skidded.
I was actually hoping you'd tell me how it went ect but it turns out an arsey reply was much better. I mean I guess that was easier for you rather than realising someone was taking interest in the car.
EDIT
and reading the above you're coming across like a fucking asshole. So now you've got a welded diff and some friends that drive in the BDC you think your the big man? Come on...get a grip. When you're in the BDC come back with some arsey response.

Lol fair enough jay.
Well in order to reply to what you actually meant, and in a way redeem myself lol, it goes alright, naturally though its a very grippy car with no power so you need a more balls out approach than someone with a 250bhp s13 for example.
Mines only running a welded diff, 60psi in the shitty rear tyres, and as of last Friday, cheap coilovers.
I could do with more front end grip, so the next plans are decent tyres on the front, and winding the camber on a bit.
Will also be adding 4mm rack spacers Saturday to improve the standard shifty amount of steering lock.
Will only be going for more power when I can consistently drive well with none.
I'll try and remember to document Lydden Hill and Norfolk arena this month on the gopro.

If you can, try and remove the camber from the rear and just have a fair bit on the fronts. Makes it so much nicer to use.
Also, keep an eye on your rack with spacers on. They can over extend the rack on full lock and do the worm gear in. I've got some 4mm ones on mine at the moment and they seem fine so far. But I've seen/heard horror stories about them before.
I'd like some extended hub knuckles but they're a pain to get hold of.
Good plans though man.

What made you change your mind to fit cheap coilovers instead of the meisters? I thought you wouldnt put cheap ones on your car? Always makes me laugh when people say they wont do something and then fit them anyway

Yeah I'm going to have to get my alignment done properly after fitting the new arm and rack spacers so ill speak to the bloke and get him to set it up nice lol. Yeah I'm only going 4mm, I remember stav on drift works went 6mm and his rack exploded lol.
With regards to knuckles, contact Mo Choudry and pressure him in to making some, he was speaking to my mate about making some to trial on his mx, but he's taken it off the road to drop an SR in and build it up to bdc spec for 2015 lol.

Haha I knew someone would pick up on that. Basically I never planned on doing streeto, but I go out regularly now, and while I'm learning, clearly the chances of bending stuff, as proved above lol, is a lot higher. Plus I paid nothing for the current coilovers, so only an idiot would turn that down.

Awesome. I got my alignment done on Saturday. Feels much more planted now, and feels more predictable now compared to having all the natural camber from lowering it. By far the best thing I've had done.
What diff is it your using by the way? 1.6 welded or 1.8?

1.6 diff. We thought it was open when I first tried skidding it, just did one wheel lol, but Marshall opened it up to weld it and it turns out it was an LSD, just shit and old ha. Seemed like a nightmare to weld though

Yeah they're sealed/caged units. Had mine done a while back and it shit itself, obviously wasn't done very well Lol.
Did he have to weld it through 4 little holes?
Best option is a 1.8 open diff to weld. Bigger crown wheel, so supposed to be stronger.
Seem like rocking horse shit to get hold of at the moment though.

Yeah you only really hear of them exploding because people don't weld them properly, they just fill them with weld lol.
Yeah he did, looked like a nightmare ha, and yeah if this gets any more power before I wreck it then i'll have to get a 1.8 diff so it doesn't go kaboom lol.
I'd like to turbo it in maybe a years time, between now and then i'm gonna be at every drift day I can get to.

Little update, no pics.
Lowered it a bit more.
Got a full Geo done.
New rocker cover gasket as the old one was a bit leaky.
Fixed my drivers side electric window.
