My Progress Thread: For Sale!
Well, I've seen a few of these on the site and thought it was a pretty good idea to see how peoples cars have progressed since they have had them, so I thought I'd do my own!
Anywho, I bought this car a while back while I was learning to drive. Won it on ebay and luckily, after travelling from Plymouth - Bradford, it wasn't a complete shed:
1999 V-Reg Black MK2 Saxo VTR
57,000 miles
Completely standard
Immaculate condition
Few pics from the advert:
A purdy picture the previous owner had taken in the snow :
Have more, will post after a few comments.
Will keep updating this thread too.
Cheers, Dave!

: Cheers peeps! Had been looking around for a while for some wheels, changed my mind soooo many times before deciding on these.
Noticed Rigz_vtr was selling a set on here: http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35771 (Pics of all wheels) All in immaculate condition with practically brand new tyres, so was pretty chuffed with them.
Anywho, got round to fitting them the other day and took a few shots yesterday after giving them a little clean (Sorry about the quality of the pics, all taken on my phone):
Hope you guys like it, any comments welcome!

Yeh mate, lowering is on the agenda. Just gathering up the money for it's the hard part.

Looking good. Plans sound good with the smoked lights all round. Only thing i would change is i would go down 60mm instead of 40mm.

LOADS of potential! already a nice car though mate!
you have to lower it in my opinion! would look 1,000,000,000 times better lowered with them wheels aswell! get the arches sitting over the tyres neatly!

Heh cheers mate, I had to get spacers so it would fit mine. Subtle has the same wheels though and I'm sure he said he didn't need them, hhhmmm....strange.
Yeh really does need lowering, not sure about how low to go though as my drive is pretty awkward. You kinda have to go up and over to get on it. Not sure if going 60mm would do any damage or not
What would you guys recommend getting? Either a full lowering kit, or just the front springs and then get the torsion bar done as it's quite a jump in price.
Ta! :
