it would be easier to drop a vtr in but seen as its out you may aswel drop a vts or a gti lump in.

its a black top. but the rocker cover was changed previously. if i was to upgrade to vts or gti will need to change anything else such as ecu or the box?

will be much cheaper to put another vtr engine in. my vts conversion has cost around £600 now, i got the engine cheap and i may or may not still have to get the ecu unlocked

Go to a reputable scrappy, some give a 30day run in garuntee so if it dont work yoyu get your money back, or look for one on forums they are usually ok

I'm also thinking about converting to a VTR engine. I'm currently driving a 1.4 VTS from 2000(european model) If I'm going to convert it what would i need? could i keep the loom, ecu and box from the 1.4?
