Newman cams
Hey guys what do i need to fit newman ph3 cams to my car pretty standard just breathing mods and exhaust system performance wise but after fitting newman ph3s and a vernier pully will it be ok on standard fuel sytem and obviously i need a remap

you are only fitting one cam shaft just before someone talks about 'cams and ph3's'

OE injectors should be fine if you are on OE inlet.

so all i would have to do is get a ph3 cam and a remap and sorted ? i only have breathing mods so i wont need anything else?

if the cam is designed to run on std inlet then yes.

Camshaft is singular, cams is plural, and a camshaft has many cams, so you can in fact use 'cams' for an 8v. /rant off.
You can just put them straight in if you wish, however there are a few things you can uprate if you want, like springs and spring caps, however you'd need the head off to do them I think.

cheers mate so i can leave everything standard pretty much i am wanting to upgrade valve springs vernier pully and the cam to ph3 will that be a good setup with a remap?

should see a nice increase, if i was you, unless you know exactly what you are doing - get a pro to fit and time it all up properly

camshaft has many cam lobes, not many cams,
you can run ph3 on standard inlet etc, need and adjustable pulley, and sum1 to time it up/remap
|
