If I got one of these dongle things to use with my laptop when I am away would watching sky player count towards the download limit?

If so how quickly would I use up 1-2gb?

Yes it will count, and very quickly if the video is good quality, although i couldnt say how quick exactly!

It will count and at Sky Players minimum transfer speed (Lowest Quality) you can easily eat up 2GB in under 3 Hours

I used to have 3 wireless broadband, I used it for when I stayed at my grans.
Was really good tbh.

My plan was 12months, £15 a month 5GB a month usage (I never maxed it out)
Speeds were like 768k download 320k upload.

I don't know what 3 are like now but they were good a year ago.

Don't expect to be able to play any form of online gaming with it though, the latency is crazy.

streaming/downloading will munch it up quickly so be careful if there charges for going over

quick as quick is. my 2gb for $30 gets me a a week of browsing if i dont download a thing apart from internet etc.
download 2 podcasts equals maxed out
