Im a bit meh over it. Though im probably going to buy it cos i want a tablet to take on holiday end of the month and HP still seem a mile away from releasing the touchpad.

Nearly got mothersayer to buy one when she was in america a couple of weeks ago - was cheap but glad I didn't. Only wanted something I can use on the bog and read in bed anyway.

im waiting for the 1st gen prices to fall (used) else ill buy one of the new ones t £320.

Personally i dont want some of the shit thats on gen 2.

Price for iPad 1 has already dropped by £100 iirc.

I will be getting an iPad 2 in a few months when I have some money

I really do hate apple, they are such money grabbers. They bring a new version out every few months and it's annoying that people fall for it tbh

Not really, Apple products tend to run on a 12 month rotation. The iPad has been out for a good 10 months. Then they have improved the spec dramatically with the processor now being twice as fast with up to 9x faster graphics performance plus cameras, gyroscope, better speaker, thinner and all for the same price as the original model.

What is there to complain about ? There are many other companies that are a hell of a lot worse for releasing a huge amount of products (HTC & Sony Ericsson for example) that don't put as much thought into the products and then charge more.

its been more than a few months.

Look at everything in life every company brings out new models. PC's for example, look at how quickly out of date one is in relation to new models.

They at least seam to cycle the products so you can tell when the new one is due.

Its the fanboys though who will buy anything even if its crap *see iphone 4*
