Default Quick easy snacks/meals

Aimed at those who train to build muscle

What do you all eat during the day thats high in protein and quick and easy.

I only have 30mins for dinner and by the time ive got changed and got to the canteen I only have around 20mins. Im currently eating crap.

Anyone got any quick easy snacks or meals that I can start eating? Im not a fan of tuna at all so would prefer things without tuna in.

Cheers for any help

Matt

You got a microwave at work? I make up a weeks worth of food on the sunday to take to work and just freeze it, I like pasta with bacon & chicken, and rice with mince meat, you can do plenty of different meals if you can microwave them.

Pray tell, what do you do with the rice/mincemeat combo? What else do you put in it?

microwave rice, pre coocked chicken from hot deli at a supermarket and eat it cold. jacket potatoes, boiled eggs. theres loads of quick easy snacks. remember its not just protein you need, you need a high in carbs and protein diet, so try and have protein and carbs in everymeal

With the mince meat i'll mix in various things like peppers etc, then add a sauce to the mince, like a bologunase (spelling?) or a chilli sauce, mix it up and try not to keep it too boring, eating so much all day you need some flavour!

Another thing me and my mate like to is cook a load of chicken and mix it with a fajita mix, then you can eat this with either wraps, rice pasta anything and it tastes good!

I tried eating a sandwich with just tuna once, no mayo or anything... I choked so badly I thought I was going to die, no joke!

Why on earth are you cutting? Thought you were about 17 stone? Just keep going and going!

I just had 2 jacket potatoes with cheese and tuna with a little bit of mayo though, not too much and thought it was nice, so I might be lying ever so slightly, I really don't mind potato, didn't realise sweet potato was dry though, but I have it mashed or in stuff usually

fat free muller rice with a scoop of whey, or double up for about 80g of carbs and 50g of protein - takes about 3 mins to wolf down..

Going to ibiza in a week I was 17st9 at one point. About 16st 8 now but struggling hard. No dont get me wrong I love sweet potatoe and tuna but I just want more! I put vinegar in my tuna and sweet potatoe I just eat, skins and hairs and all. Once its weighed, nothing goes to waste ha.

Going 0 carbs next week to starve the muscle of glycogen then carbing right up on oats before I leave for ibiza to destroy my body for a week with drink and drugs haha.

Sounds good minus the drugs! Take it easy, some lass just died over there hasn't she? I'd kill to be 15st, let alone 16st 8... 14 and a half at the moment, aiming for 15 before magaluf on the 12 August though! Gonna look like a right fat mess

Drugs and idiocy dont mix. To be honest I fee like shit at the minute. With me at low carbs I just feel flat, feels like Ive done something wrong somewhere. Pissing me off to be honest, if it doesnt get better when I carb up Ill be so fucking sick in ibiza. Would feel like Ive dieted for 10 weeks for nothing.

Im trying to not weigh myself, just fucks my head up even more. Whats your diet like at the minute?

Im researching a lot into diets at the minute. Getting headaches from all the reading!
