hahahaha exactly the same.
always get a huntley before going to pick her up or going to my safehouse.
anyone that says anything/smahes into my car i jump out and take a shotgun to there face.
one guy killed me when i was drunk so i went back to the same area and smashed his face in slowly. and now when ever i see a guy in the same clothes i take him down an alley and blows his brains from his head.

yeah shadows are dodgy, graphics are dim and slightly 'tangoed' I have the 40GB PS3.

I lost a game of darts in the Irish pub, so everybody in there got knifed up!!!!
That's about as bad as I've been so far though, lol... oh, I did try to cross over to the other island (before it was unlocked) and instantly got the whole police force after me, lets just say I didn't last long!! damn!!

You tried playing with the in game settings or/and settings on your TV? the graphics aren't stunning compared to say Uncharted but that's minor.

theres 2 bridges, one has a toll. the other is guarded by police.

No, if I don't pay the toll fee I only get a 1 star rating... I mean when crossing the main bridge to the second island... it's barricaded off by police, try go past them and you can consider yourself dead. Lol.

i actually dont know what any of the ps3 display settings do, i made a thread about it and no-one replied. Same goes for my tv, not sure what settings to change on there either

I have no idea how you do it on the 360 either. My graphics did looks a bit shite yesterday too. But macking someone in my 4x4 soon made me forget about it.

has random things like PS smoothing but no idea what it does and can find a description of what they do anywhere.
The camera angel on gta4 is dodgy too, you find youself crashing into things cos the camera doesnt follow you propperly. Like when you help little jacob with drug dealers in a back alley, you go to mow them down and u turn the corner and cant see for shit and end up wedging the car in the alley and being killed

HAHAHA funniest thing ever (because it not happened to me) but really seriously harsh.
Think this happened to someone else too, you left the 360 for a bit and turned it back on to see if it still does it?
If not do the towel trick so you can have a quick go then send it off.
FYI: 360's tend not to break as often if you run them horizontally not vertically
