incorrect. The 40GB ps3 plays ps1 games by emulation but doesnt play ps2 games.
Definitely get a ps3. Just dont tell cloud as Im sure he'll say "I told you so"

You can charge it in the USB ports while playing, and I think you can connect to the net through it.
The PS3 does not come with a HDMI cable with any SKU, you have to get it seperatly.

lol i always said i will buy one when the price comes down. Willing to pay £300 but wasnt when they was £500 on release.

playstation will always prevale eventually, sony has alot more experience and games like gta, GT and mgs4 are the only reason im gettin one after xmas as theyll be immense

PS3 is amazing. I got mine for £275 with 3 games and 2 blu-ray dvds. Its well worth it and I personally think its a better console. I would get one!

Seriously considering getting rid now.
Might sell my xbox. Then either wait a few weeks to get the best deal i can find or just wait untill Xmas and get one then. But still sell my 360 now.
I only get about 3-4 hour a week on my 360 asit is atm. Start my new job in 2 weeks so i doubt i will have time to sit down and play on it. So think i might just wait and get it for xmas with all the shizbang, HDMI cable, Extra controller, few games.

Argos has a good deal on now......Playstation 3, 2 Controllers and 3 games from the choice of about 7.....for 349quid..

Get a ps3!! i bought one been a bit unsure but i love it, F1 is an awesome game. I have pro evo coming on friday, cant wait. Havent tried the online yet but when i move to my new house ill have everything sorted to do that.

wrong! my mayes ps3 plays ps2 games not all of them but most of them!
they arn't copied either i think they must be genuine! its a compatibility issue!
depends on the disc!
Havent tried ps1 games, but i do no around 60-70% of ps2 games are playable!
im investing in a ps3 in and around after xmas time! better titles be out then and the jan sales will be in so be cheaper by 30-50 squiders!

ps3 has remote play too, you regesiter your psp with your ps3 then it means you can see everything that would appear on your tv on the screen of your psp wirelessly. this allows you to watch films, listen to music or look at photos that are stored on the ps3 hard drive
