Nice to see a project getting finished haha its a nightmare to be honest keep finding more rust! I'm wondering if I should just try and find a better shell if there is one out there but ive gotten so far into it and started welding it up so I feel like I should just carry on with it now!

There's nothing worse is there . I've the second bit on mine , on the inside of the roof where the sunroof drains are . Has got a small hole in it .
Where are you going to be patching up now ? Hope it's nothing too major

I'm patching the rear arches at the moment drivers side is the worst one, funny though they looked fine before I decided to remove the underseal, that stuff hides everything! need two front inner wings and a couple of bits underneath the boot floor too. Hopefully get it done but its just so time consuming and I don't enjoy welding at all
Suppose I should check the sunroof drains next.. hahaha

It does indeed haha , horror to work under a car especially welding them up, constantly getting burnt and you can soon have a mess which makes things harder .
You just have to keep plodding away at it and before you know it you will have it all done . I was getting bored putting my cage in and welding the boxes for it to sit on but it was an easy job once I got stuck in

Haha make sure you get some long gloves to stop the splatter going down your sleeve and an old hoodie to do the same for your neck and back .
Cheers mate grabbed a bargain, was new but second hand . Just needed to make some new feet for it and weld them in. A pair of harnesses are on the list for this week

Ask Alex at DTA who he would recommend.

I think I need to start looking as it's nearly finished . Saying that I've just put a deposit down on a new box with a qauiffe lad fitted from blacky on here
Hopefully get it picked up the start of next week .
New harnesses are here and half fitted , need some m8 ring bolts to anchor on the tunnel inside .
New pads for the tarox brakes have also been delivered today and fitted.
Will update with pictures this week

Haha many people were after the box , wend at picked the box up today, also ended up with a rear bumper crash bar smoked jewels and a clutch cable .
Gave the box a clean with some petrol and it's came up amazing, just looks like it's been soda blasted . Also have it all pretty much fitted just a few bits to do tomorrow.

He's not too far from me , on 80 miles away. Got the misses to drive as my st is rather thirsty.
Needless to say she did some twinning when I came out the garage with a lot more than I should have haha

Haha she doesn't mind , even came up to the garage and fitted the shafts and some wiring
Tell me about it , just bought a new set of harnesses the other week and he had some there for sale . Also a nitrous kit which looked tempting

Small update today.
Rear bumper painted and fitted
Front arch fitted
Front bumper bolted up right
Turbosmart eboost wired up
Vacuum lines for wastegate fitted
Vacuum lines for boost gauge (through the eboost)
Vacuum line for map sensor done
Vacuum line for fpr done
Every bolt has been checked over on the car
Fluids all checked
Rear lights fitted
Harnesses fitted proper
Roll cage bolts checked
Screamer pipe finished and wrapped
Exhaust bracket welded on ( waiting for more wrap to do the whole lot)
All hose clips checked
It's been a busy weekend for me and I'm glad to say it's booked in for mapping on the 29th April, going for a low boost map first for a couple hundred miles then send it back to get more boost added .
Getting mapped at jdm dyno at kirkbride. Which is hand for me as it's only half an hour away from me.
I'm excited and nervous at the same time haha
