Yea I've noticed on these engines it's impossible to not have the downpipe near the alternator fantastic results though mate bet it feels like a different car

I have wrapped the downpipe and I'm going to make a cover of some description. Map needs a slight tweak at top end but he said it will be good for now

Next step is a set of 630cc injectors and go back to reach my goal off 300bhp .

Not bad for a diy build ...

Strange the duty is so high..

djx11b ran 491cc at 270bhp on a GT2554R
saxodaffy ran 398cc at 321bhp on a GT2871RS

Then theres the Lithuanian Saxo running 550bhp using 550cc injectors

As mentioned on facebook get some gold heat tape and wrap the wiring and alternator oh and a turbo blanket for temps!

That's what I'm using in mine , the Chinese shit ones though, probably a factor in it somewhere, will be going with the proper siemens 630cc injectors as they are only £200 which is cheap compared to the iwp069 poco ones

Running 4 bar fp, I think you can go to 5 bar with these . But I'd rather do the job right and get the bigger injectors.

Plus after a long drive if I switch the car off then get back in it and try to start it , it goes on 3 cylinders for a while, so one of them is slightly buggered . Always comes back on but that's beside the point

Great results. I am aiming for the same power, I'd be more than happy with that.

djx11b ran a 4 bar FPR
saxodaffy ran a standard VTS FPR with uprated fuel pump
Lithuanian uses an adjustable FPR

e8_pqck ran 318bhp in an ax using 630 Siemens and 3 bar fpr

I think the issue you have is that they are Chinese injectors...

EDIT - I'm also still waiting for these videos and a new engine pic wouldn't go amiss (just don't upload to photobucket)

please don't, its obvious they aren't great!

GTR injectors might be good for you, lots about as they get binned after about 600 bhp.

I will be throwing the injectors in the bin as one of them decides not to work when I switch it off and back on .

May get the go pro out this week and see what the quality is like .

Talk to me about the injectors from a gtr, are they a direct fit in the standard inlet ?

what injectors are you running? 440s should be plenty for the power you want at 4 bar?
