It says their games will be $60, but not that other developers will be more or less.. Probably more, but it doesn't say that for sure.. Yet

Likewise. Im chronically underimpressed with both. My mates are all hyped for the xb1, but im not getting one: mainly due to the reasons listed in here, but online gaming has gone massively downhill imo.BF3 has so many flaws its not real, fifa is just a joke of a game, and joining multiplayers on other games is fraught with the dangers of randomly connecting to a 13year old screaming kid who cant stop shouting about gays. Theres no point in me actually being on xblive anymore: fuck turning on my router and connecting to play si gle player games.
As holdawayt says, i dont want a tv device.

Went in to Game and asked whats been pre-ordered more. He replied saying the PS4 but cant see why as when ever he asked them why you changing from xBox to PS, no one could justify why.

Id hate to work in my old job in the games bit of HMV, having to explain to people in the run up to xmas that xbox ones wont work without an internet connection every day. But i dare say loads of people wont be told, will buy them andnend up raging.

Pffft. If they don't do a little bit of research before spending towards £500 that's their problem. Especially since the xbone specs and criteria were widely covered by the media.
I remember some idiot back in the old days of me selling video games etc. He brought back his copy of Tomb raider because he couldn't make it past the first level. He had to be told nicely that being useless at playing a game wasn't an excuse, and wouldn't bring back a copy of gran turismo because he can't hack it past the first corner.

Looks like there is no plans to change the kinect requirement still.. But there is going to be a vast range of settings.. So I'm sure there will be plenty people can do to make themselves happy.. If all else fails, turn the camera towards a wall i suppose..
The playstation eye is going to be $60, so not the extra $100 that you pay for the xbox, but then again, the playstation eye won't have voice recognition. Which personally, i aren't a fan of.. Could see how some people will like the novelty, but all i keep thinking is that a friend will say "xbox off" mid game! Specially if you are playing eachother at FIFA..
Wonder if you were playing call of duty, and had voice coming through your tv speakers, from other players microphones, and someone shouted "XBOX OFF" if everyones would turn off.. That would be pretty funny hah

Thing with the Xbox in my eyes is why is Microsoft even thinking of bringing the new console out with the restrictions in the 1st place? Surly they would of known the reactions they would of got

Has 4 mics. Voice recognition can be implemented through software. Ps pad has a speaker, xbox has not etc. The problem currently with xbox is that buying the kinect is compulsary and has to be plugged in. Shame about having to pay extra that some will never need. Imagine breaking it and having to buy it again just to play non-kinect games. I don't get the logic behind this apart from getting more money from the consumer..
