Im at uni and its soooooooooo shit at weekends so i've decided to start learning the guitar. Any recomendations? My friends say I should get an aria? Been looking at a pro 2 and a mac 57?

acoustic is always good to learn basics on. my 1st guitar was a fender squier not a bad guitar tbh.

My house mate has two so I just borrow his anyway, fancy buying an electric anyway as it will be more suited to my type of music. I was looking at one of those aswell but got told to get an aria instead lol.

My other half is pretty shit hot on the ol guitar and he says aria are terrible and you should look into a cheap schecter, epiphone or a jap/mexican fender. Don't get a squire, stagg or encore

yeah epiphone les paul. get a real nice rocky bluesy tone out of them. real close to a gibson sound.

They are all a little expensive by the looks of it, im a student, I don't have much to spend!
