'52 Saxo VTR
Hi, I've put a deposit down for a 2002 Saxo VTR
So it has the 98bhp engine
It's very very standard
I was looking at modifications
I have read about manifolds and exhaust systems as well as induction kits
So far I've decided
Raceland 4-2-1
Cat back system with 4" tail pipe
Induction 'bucket' to to the front valance with filter inside
Anything else?
Not too serious like cams/ecu/throttle bodies
But not stupid like eBay superchips and superchargers!
Thank you

if you get the 4-2-1 you have to change the oil filter arrangement to the mk1 style. for the sake of it buy the raceland 4-1 from kam then you dont have to mess about

See I was reading that, and wanted to be sure of which one to go with
Some say 4-2-1 is better for VTR
Some say 4-1 is better for VTS
Any agreement?

tbh you're not going to see a massive difference in power between the two i dont think, might as well just fit the 4-1 clicky
unless you REALLY want a 4-2-1 then change the filter up to you at the end of the day!

Any recommendations?

Hmmm
Is that the only 'benefit' of supersprint over raceland?

apparently its made a lot better than the raceland and sometimes with racelands you have to slightly jig it to fit so iv heard but either will do the job.
on a budget: raceland.
big budget: supersprint

piper stuff is spot on but pricey, janspeed manifolds are mild steel iirc so wont last like the stainless ones
