Thought the new ones came in as 250 gb models. Surely you knew that you can't play certain games to their full extent (forza etc) without additional storage space. Very easy to get 2 games like that and all of a sudden you need 4 gigs if not more..

because its cheaper ? ....... I Didnt have 199 quid, my xbox died just as the postman delivered battlefield. All i had was some birthday money so i got the 4gb. I did also briefly hear about you being able to use the old hard drive in the slim. Which you Can. In all fairness you only need under two gig to install the hd content so why they dont let you install it on the 4gig i dont know.

either way its workin now. I thought I'd mention that because i know Theres going to be quite a few people who hit the same problem....... Why dont you like it mate ? I think its good. There are some slight collision detection issues i think. I got stuck hiding behind a wall and for some reason Couldnt get away at first. I think its good though over all. I'd love to hear why that guy Doesnt like it.

I don't like the campaign...the bit where you're in the aeroplane n bombing jets on the runway is just 10 minutes of boring and annoying gameplay

I find it hard to see people in the game, i end up just shooting where the muzzle flash is coming from. And i have fiddled with the brightness etc, it's just quite a dark game in places with heaps of shrapnel lying around so it's hard to distinguish enemies from a piece of rubbish

And multiplayer is unplayable for me personally as my connection is shit, the lag is fucking insane..its beyond even being lag i can't move around properly or anything! But thats my own connection problem...but the MP maps are far too big i reckon, and square.. I just prefer the maps on Far Cry 2 where you basically have one end and opposition have the other end, and you either fight in the middle if teams are equal, or a better team will storm the weaker teams base, or people can flank them and get in behind where they're shooting...i hate big square maps like on this where you basically have to watch your back constantly

Just not a fan of it...it's lying gathering dust while i play Far Cry 2...i'll prob complete the campaign and trade it for MW3

I've been playing it..

And it's a great game, is hard to see enemy's.. but you get the hang of it. More realistic that way, have to search the area before moving.

I like the new point's system! you get points for 'suppression fire' and 'avenge' for killing someone who recently killed your teammate etc..

As said the map's are MASSIVE! But again, realistic.. so you HAVE to get in a vehicle to move distances, unlinke other games where you can run miles in seconds lol.

And if you want close-up action, there's team death-matches which are much smaller maps.

Sniping is hard, you actually have to guess how many metres a enemy is away, and use the scope distance metre and aim above them. Realistic though!

Flying jets/choppers is alot different.. but do-able.

rank 10, and got quite alot of weapon upgrades.. much more fun than the shitty guns to start with.

Runs on ultra settings too, which i'm happy about! 50fps@1920x1080.

what by £50?

its £150 for the 4gb and 199 for the £250gb. its a no brainer.

LOL @ "£250gb" you put the pound sign in the wrong place!

I took a video of me jumping about on Battlefield multiplayer....you will all understand why i can't play this online, my connection is fucking shite and it's unplayable

ive just bought it and i think its awesome, still buying mw3.

maps are pretty huge no lag. I think if you didnt get lag peter youd enjoy it more. Wont it be the same on mw3 online for you?

Yeah i'd enjoy it more without lag, but the only advantage BF3 has over Far Cry 2 is that it takes a while to get a match on FC2 now with not many people playing it.. BF3 is a good game but for me FC2 just roasts everything, it's pretty much perfect online

MW3 prob wont even connect as i couldn't get MW2 or Black Ops to connect at all or join a game, but MW3 will have the offline multiplayer like on Black Ops so i can do multiplayer vs the computer

just completed the single player campaign, way too short! just need to go back and get the missing achievements and complete it on hard.

not even tried MP yet. ill do co-op when my mate gets it

It can be a bitch to get online. Here's what I do:

Try the game you want
(If above doesn't work) then try the next gametype
Repeat
Repeat
Repeat until you get a game

I've never failed to connect 3 times running. Its not hard to get a game.

peter i always looked at farcry two and thought it seemed good but never got round to playing it. You think its worth picking up a pre owned? Also when you say Theres no people left playing, is that on xbox ?
