Default Saxo Newbie questions
Hi there, i have a 2001 1.1 desire and was wondering if anyone knows how to install remote locking to my car as it only has central locking with the key in the door.
i should also ask what amps should my alternator produce.

On a 2001 you need the RF receiver and central locking relay combo that goes behind the glovebox, and you'll need a matching key.

Only other way is aftermarket options.

On an earlier model, you would need the IR reciever that goes in the headlining by the light and matching remote. The wiring is there on older models. They are notoriously unreliable.
