Default Diesel engine

Ive just replaced the radiator on my diesel, but I can't find 2 of the bloody bleed valves!

I've found the one with the plastic cap on the pipe on the driver's side, but cant find the other two. The old radiator had a plug at the bottom on the passenger side, but the new one doesn't. I also can't find one on the thermostat housing (I'm assuming that I've actually even managed to find the thermostat housing...)

you sure you took the right one off?

the stat house should have an allen type bolt in it. not sure if the same on 16v like? and not looked at the guide lol

but oil should not come out of the correct hole..if it does then you have issues

Looking at it i erm undone the wrong one its fine though..

exactly :hugs:

if the cover is the same design as on the 8v, then there is an oil reservoir in the rear aswel, so its possible the seal is leaking oil into the coolant

There's no problem with the guide for the petrol owners. Can anyone with a diesel confirm that the bleed points are all in the same places? There's nothing at all on my radiator that I can use to bleed from.
