Looks like the 1995 engine used in the Jordan in F1.

I think it would fit easy, although the bugatti veyron engine apparently will go in sideways and make it rear wheel drive, with no mods, Just need to chop the middle of the car out, piece of piss

Wouldn't keep up with the pimped up 1.1 rudeboys though

If I was looking for a mental engine I'd probably go for the Hartley 2.8 or 3 litre all alloy V8, probably the lightest, most compact V8 available weighing only 200 lbs and putting out 400-500bhp spec dependent, also revs to 10k.

SPECIFICATIONS H1V8:

75° odd fire V8
2.8 LITER, 170 cu. in. displacement (3.0 liter optional)
84mm Bore X 63mm Stroke (67 stroke optional)
4 cams, 32 valves via internal silent chain
530mm wide x 485mm long x 530mm high
400HP @ 10,000 rpm with stock street cams (higher spec, 500bhp)
245 ft-lbs torque @ 7500 rpm
200 lbs engine weight
Billet nitrided steel 180° crank
4340 H-beam con-rods with ARP bolts
Billet 6061-T6 aluminum crankcase
Dry sump 0il system with 4 stage pump
7.25" or 5.5" Twin disc clutch
DTA S80 full sequential ECU
Unique cylinder offset and cam drive arrangement yields a compact design- Patent No. 7,168,405

Can you fit a chip on the ECU or is it better to get a remap on this V10?

remap may affect the performance of the ported throttle body. Stick with a chip imho

This thread is getting a bit silly but for talking sake... you'd need very high specced standalone aftermarket ECU to run an F1 engine and extensive mapping. These things are built to such high tolerances that they have to be connected to an engine 'life support' machine which pumps hot oil round it etc etc, keeps all internal temps within certain parameters to stop it seizing and reads its vital signs, only if they are all within spec will it be safe to start.
