Does that mean no more comments like:- “that’s too modern it will never work.”
Or “it’s been done like this for years why would you want to change it”

Well, he has't logged in for over 2 years so I guess not.

He was firmly stuck in the 90's when it came to engine tech, just was absolutely against learning anything new and that progress had been made when it comes to tuning cars.

Some aftermarket ECU's now are so good and easy to use, that any idiot could set up a base map and not break their engine
or, dare I say they could set a road tune and get better results
then just a quick drive to someone reputable with a dyno to finish it off.

Ahh yes, just seen his post.

Also saw a 106 for sale very recently with a GMC supercharger kit fitted to it. Pity the guy selling it knew absolutely nothing about the spec of his car.

taken out of context as most of your snipes were and seems still are
you forget what I said a long time ago that a modern ecu controlled turbo will be better --
but in those days and now no one wants to spend the ,money on new tech tech turbo,s and electronics to control them on a cheap old car

If you compare like with like old tech turbo AND an s/c on a saxo and a race track --then s/c will win every time
If we could start again with modern type turbo,s -and deep pockets traction control etc --the yes turbo will win
