Smile Commercial vehicle designation

Dear citroen fans
I have one question about Commercial vehicle designation. Which is correct for Citroën saxo 16v?
I have some inccorect data logs in technical approval.
I have SAXO/1.6/I 16S SPORT
Is it correct?
Thanks for all response!
Best regards,

Miha

in the uk a 16v saxo would be called a Saxo VTS.

the badging would have been VTS on the doors and rear, also "16V" on the quarter panels.

spanner in the works is any other country in europe also had very random variants, I have seen VTS badged cars in Belgium with black michelin steels and 8v engine

In Belgium they used to call a 1.4 on steelies a VTS, pretty much because it had the arch and skirts bits bolted on top

You can get them in 1.1 litre VTS too, there was a guy floating about who had one with aircon. It had the "UK" VTR alloys on it as standard aka proper VTS wheels.

similar stories with 106, you could essentially get a "GTi" spec with the 1.1 or 1.4 engine.

There were a lot of 106 quicksilvers (1.4) about in France and Belgium as well. In my dad's street there was this kid for a while who had full sticker rally copy, VTS etc. Still 1.4

Also, Belgium had slightly higher spec interiors and slightly higher BHP than the original French ones. I did buy and keep one (1.1)of them for a while, full electrics everything and much lower price compared to any other market. iirc I paid sub 4k for a car that smelt of new and had 10k on the clock.

Bloody right hand drive got in the way of aircon didn't it.
