Ran on idle with no cooling fan

Leckie, it means, he went off Sexytiming, and left his car running with no fan on.

Ummm Yer...Idiot made it a manual fan...Anyways, was destracted and forget to turn the fan on...
Nest thing I knew the coolant light was on...water was pissed everywhere...
Im guessing pipe or rad...
Went to Tescos and got 5 bottles of 17p water!
Poured 3-4 bottles in and bled in all through...!
Could it have damaged my engine? e.g headgasket?

For those who dont get it, to cut a long story short, I left my engine running on idle and forgot to turn my coolant fan on which is manual....water evrywhere after..........!

They guy before transplanted the vts lump into what used to be a vtr...made it manual for some reason. Can be handy though..

why did u make the fan manual thats what i dont get
im not sure if it culd of damaged gasket
might be worth replacing the thermostate
where did it leak from

I DIDNT!!!! The guy before did!
Looked like lower, offside, coolant hose leak, but coulnt see int he dark
About to go look now.

Thermostat appeared to work still mate, Temp gauge inside was working, didnt over heat or anything when I drove home after filling it up and bleeding it through luckily. HAd the fan on the whole way home too.
