i've just followed this guide and fit mine. But I still have the oil pressure sensor problem. I think I saw the square whole that it needs to be plugged into that citroen use. Can I still get this off to put the sensor on? Also does it need to be tapped? Cheers.

Well mine's 8v but i've spoken to KamRacing and they've said that there's a hole for it on the manifold.

Ive got a raceland and mine is right next to the flange where it connects to the cat (or decat), had to unclip the wiring from main loom and re route in order to connect lambda back up
Not the best of photo's but you can just make it out on the right

How hard was it to re-route the wiring? does the standard wiring not reach?
what if i just extended the wire to the plug by using spade connecters or whatever and some insulated copper or something?

It wasn't hard to re route tbh just had to take off air filter assembly to get to the loom, I did think about extending the wiring on the lambda but I thought I'd try moving things first,

I'm going to fit a Mk1 oil filter onto my Y reg (2001) car tomorrow to make way for the manifold.
I've removed the oil filter housing and bracket and i'm left with this
You can see that where the oil filter insert is supposed to go, it has something in there. I had a little feel and it feels like a nut or a bolt is in there.
There isn't anywhere to screw the oil filter attachment on. Anyone know what this is? Do i remove this and then my oil filter insert goes in there?

You'll need to remove that old insert. Mole grips should do the trick.

And thats it. That 'Instert' that is currently in there isn't special to my car is it? I'm assuming everyone else on here has done the same?
It doesn't show anything like this in the guide at the start.
And mine doesn't have a oil return hole
Thank you lee

That insert is for the later MK2 oil filter setup. When you remove the oil filter assembly, sometimes the insert will stay in the assembly, sometimes it'll stay in the block.
I think it should have an oil return hole somewhere. Have a look at the filter assembly you removed - you might be able to see where the return hole is from that?

Thanks Lee. Good thinking for looking in the filter assembly.
Perhaps some FAQ's for this can be cleared up and put in on the 1st post. I've spent an hour reading though all these pages.
Thanks

and regarding just to ask for the parts, they were far too lazy, and they said they needed a VIN Number for the parts.. bearing in mind i have a 1.6 vtr engine in a 106 shell, so yeah.. they would be like what the fuck?
Im not sure if the part numbers on the citroen service box would be the same for the parts desk at citroen themselves?
