£80 is a fair price for doing torsion bars

£80 is fairly good jack. Make sure they are removing the bars to lower the back

To lower a saxo properly by fitting springs, dampers, bulling bars totally out and resetting and adjusting the brake bias compensator and connecting rods reset. I would say £200 is not a silly price and £100 would be a steel. If you are getting it much cheaper than that I would start asking my self what are they really doing? I have seen cars leave after being lowered with the brakes all to pot, the wheels toe out, gearbox with next to no oil in, drive shafts rubbing on power steering pipes and even cars sitting lobsided.

Thats not that expensive, RickyP, who everyone recommends only charges £160 (thats supplying the springs tho) and the place where I got my other car lowered last year, charged £150 and I had to supply the springs.

im currently having a go at doing the torsion myself, cus the places round here weren't doing it properly, so got the proper guide and i am following that.

just trying to get the washer out before removing the torsion.

awkward, but saves money
