sorry what do you mean tell you the key during the post? is it a case of putting in the restart disc, turning off the laptop and then turning it back on again and following steps that come up?

Turn laptop on
Put disk in
Turn off, And back on.

It should not come up boot from disk...press any key....so just mash some keys.

Otherwise go into the bios via F11 and change the boot settings to boot from cd for the first setting and save.

Now restart, boot from cd and follow instructions
