Default Volume Problem
Just reset my computer to factory setting as it was full of shit so decided it needed a good clean up. Sound device is re instaled and i can listen to music through media player, itunes etc....

Problem is i cant hear anything through youtube... shockwave and flash is installed and the video plays just has no sound...

Its on all videos not just music ones so its not just that copyrite thing...

Any help,

Goto Internet Options / Advanced

Scroll down to Multimedia and Make sure Play sound in webpages is ticked.

No, cant hear anything through any site...

I use firefox if that helps...

Just tried that and yeah all the multimedia boxes are tick'd

Sounds like a browser problem.

Take it you have confirmed it by checking to see if same problem exists through Internet Explorer.

Process of elimination at moment.

reinstall flash. and install k-lite pack for AVI files. might help it aswell.

Cheers lads, just managed to get it sorted...

Control panel > Sounds and audio devices > Audio > Playback drop down

It was on Modem#0 Line playback i changed it to c-media wave device and now it works cheers for the tho help guys
