Not sure man, mine has recently developed a clunk similar. I'll let you know what it is, if I ever find it!

Wow its super annoying
Every turn of the steering wheel, mine all started after changing out the struts. I hear a "ping" sound every turn

And i definitely can hear it from the left strut. I suspected broken spring but its okay because i removed it. Dont know what else i can do to this. Everythings new and still to no avail.

You wont believe what the issue was. Its stupid haha. Today i thought i check the shock retaining nut for tightness. I put mole grips on it and turned it a half a turn more and bam no more clunking!

Im surprised because when i tried to turn the nut it was already freakin tight to begin with
