i'm lookin to do this conversion on my mk2 vtr just wanted to ask if anyone knows if the vtr cat and the 1.0 cat are of the same standard...coz i cant be arsed changin it back for the MOT so jus wanna put a 1.0 center section in with the cat on it..

I used the part numbers for the studs, nuts, gasket, and oil relocation parts and they were all still right. That was a few months ago.

When blocking the hole with the screw, will it run ok as isnt it ment to be there for a reason?

It will work fine, just make sure you plug the right hole. Its the oil return hole so with a mk1 filter it dosnt need it, so will work mate

When putting a Mani on a Mk2 with Cat, What adjustments need to be made to fit the manifold? you said "a mk1 oil filter and adapter" what is the adapter mate? Cheers

The adapter is basically a short metal tube with a thread on the outside of it.
Half of that screws into the block and the other half screws into the oil filter.
Its pretty self explanitory though just read the guide a few times and make sure you have all the right parts before starting the job.
