Saxperience Server Upgrade!
Saxperience has undergone numerous changes and improvements over the years, and we have even more changes planned for this year. As the Saxperience community continues to grow (currently over 200 new members joining every week) we intend to lay down a solid foundation which will enable us to take Saxperience forward.
Time to upgrade the Server!
For the techies:
The current server runs 2 x AMD Opteron Dual-Core processors with 4GB RAM.
The NEW server will run 2 x Intel Xeon 5400 Series Quad-Core Processors with 16GB RAM.
Upgrading the server will mean that there will be a short interruption to service while everything is transferred over. If all goes to plan this should not be more than a few minutes.
The new server is a custom build so we are still waiting for the hardware to be installed. Once we have more details on exactly when the upgrade will take place a further announcement will be made here.
There will be a number of changes in the coming weeks - we will do everything we can to reduce any downtime to a minimum and we hope that you will be patient with us while we work to make your time on Saxperience even more enjoyable and productive.

Should hopefully be faster and more responsive, but that's not the only reason. Lots more updates in the pipeline which this will help with.

Good work guys. It takes alot of effort to run a hugely expanding website like this and keep updating it.
