Need a lot more information;

What browser are you using?
Have you tried a different one when your current doesn't work?
Does it only happen when you resume from a hibernate?
Any software firewall running on boot?

Firefox.
Happens on Internet Explorer too.
It happens just when browsing, then just goes off.
Norton Antivirus (Internet Security).

My Mum and sister both hate Vista now, so their thinking of changing to XP which is what the main computor and my laptop run.

When it stops working do other computers on the network still have working Internet?

Does every site stop working, or just some?

If, you use MSN Messenger, does this sign out as well? If not its most likely a DNS problem. I can help you with that.

Could be a million things, just trying to narrow it down.

I don't use MSN so not sure.

ANY site with a forum works (that I have saved in favourites). Like Saxp, 307 Forum etc. My Dad can still access internet no problem.
