Most scammers are put off by this.
We removed all viewing rights to the forums for this because there were still some big scams going on.
They wont be changing in the near future thats for sure no matter how many newbies complain.

We only recently implemented the scheme, because members were being scammed badly.
id say trying to protect the members from this is a good thing, changing it back so they are more open to scams isnt an improvement

Thanks for your suggestion. there have been many threads suggesting similar removal of the restricitions that I put in place.
Unfortuantely however, far too many members failed to protect themselves and stick to good solid trading practices and as a result, they allowed themselves to be conned out of money and/or items.
The no posting restriction was put in place to stop people trying to con members by offering fake or non-existant goods for sale.
The no viewing restriction was put in place to stop members from being conned after posting 'wanted' articles in the wanted forums, which fake 'sellers' responded to via PM to strike up a deal.
Its a shame we've had to put these restrictions in place, but if people can't protect themselves and then consider this the responsibility of Saxperience... which it quite frankly is not... then something had to be done to try to reduce the aftermath of people's own foolishness.
As a result of many scams over a relatively short period, the restrictions were put in place and limits increased from 50 posts upto 100 posts and 30 days registered.
We could debate the scale of your suggested improvement, but that very much depends upon your point of view, as to whether you consider it an improvement, or back-tracking.
Sorry... but thats just the way things are.

Thank you Simon, its a shame that a minority of idiots spoil the full experience of others. I can completly understand why you do it. Maybe aswell they should be a thread that helps those see the tricks that the con people do, as many of the cons are the same old ones and not many are new.
For example they will send you a cheque...obvious its going to bounce, but request goods ASAP as its a prescent etc. Maybe a thread to share this scams could also be useful.
Thank you for getting back to my suggestion, its much appreciated, and you put across the reasonings as to why you made this ruling up very concise
