Default Citroen Saxo 1.1 Alternator

Can anyone help with the alternator bolt torque settings as i have looked and could not find anything about it if any help could be provided it would be much appreciated.

Haynes don't list any torque settings for the alternator mounting bolts. I'd just basically do them up fairly tight (I appreciate that's hard to quantify). At a guess on that size of fixing I'd estimate that maybe it would be around 20 lbft. As long as you don't swing on it or use a breaker bar or an extension pole, then basically 'good and tight' should suffice. It's not likely to come loose unless you really don't tighten it up very much.

There's always bits and pieces that don't really come with a torque setting and in the end you just need to learn what feels right for different types of fixings.
