CBA with the 'only having the best' saxos bollocks, been there done that before and it allways pissed me off.
And also if anyone does the usual spelling correction crap like general chat, they can be removed for being an annoying fuckwitt.

Was that last bit a casual hint to someone? haha
I know what you're saying. Like myself I have no where near even a mid level saxo but without blowing my own trumpet, I think I generate good discussion aswell as some good input on some threads. Comprende what you're saying anyway
I guess threads that can be answered with a one word answer can be left outside of this section unless its track specific such as rules, DB limits etc

Will look forward to that - aero is something that I'm interested in but don't know a huge lot about.

I will do my best to contribute. I obviously dont have as much knowledge as many on here but anything I can be of assistance on I will.
Would track orientated guides be useful in this section? Like battery relocation, or has this been covered elsewhere on the forum?
Just thinking things like that might be good to have in here.

Fair play, i used to enjoy reading bits here and there. Main reason why F1 was so interesting for me was due to the design and aerogrip.
That and the imfamous williams with active suspension etc...

Db - thanks for your input so far!
Do NOT be afraid to deny members. The whole point of this forum was to cut down spam and bollocks, which has crept into other forums. I dont wish for this to be awash with photos and such either.
There's been a lot of talk in here about people attending track days. I didnt see the primary focus as discussing attending track days, more so preparing your car for the track/motorsport... hence the technical slant.
I also agree, if members are accepted to simply collect a spanner, this will be evident and these members should be removed once known. I can see quite a few names already, who I done expect will contribute ANY technical advice in this forum!? Remember, anyone can view, but only accepted members can post.
More usergroup leaders will make this better/easier to control.

I've now setup a 'track chat' sub forum. Please post all non-technical track/motorsport type stuff in there. (if you have to post )
Remember - you asked for a technical-based forum, so you have one. Please keep the main track/motorsport forum based on technical input/queries.
Thanks
Simo

Firstly, the idea of this section and controlling the posting access to it is excellent

I'm sure me being in here will be one of those names. I am posting this now just to assure you (and everyone else!) that I am not here for the spanner trophy. I am interested in the track day side of things. I explained this to Danny and he agreed.
When I saw you mention you didn't intend for it to be track day talk and purely technical I asked Danny to remove me because I didn't want to get in the way. I do NOT intend to get in the way of any technical help.
When you added the track chat sub forum I re-applied as I am interested in track days and I reckon I would be of some use in that part.
As I said though, I will be keeping out of the technical advice side

To clarify - I never added a track day sub forum - I added a track chat sub forum, so that all of the general bollox (that I and many other tech peeps wont wish to read often) can hide in
I really dont feel there should be a chat sub forum, but until this place finds its feet, it could be handy
