Does anyone actually rely on a saxo/106 as a daily anymore?

I doubt it, but I would do in a flash. I used a 106 derv weapon to commute years ago and it was bulletproof and ran on air.
I washed it yesterday, I'll pop some pics up in a bit, I've had to refit the VTS wheels temporarily as the rallye tyres are badly cracked all over the shop after some use. They'll mostly be needing some AO48's on them.

awesome dude, just read all about it!
dont listen to other people it doesnt need lowering!
think of it being nose down so the car levels out when it squats as you blast through 2nd gear! though with how stiff it is does it squat much? lol

haha, not much like, ironically, now I've lowered it a bit, I've had to refit the VTS wheels and they rub slightly on the rear under cornering / load.
It does handle much better on the wider section tyres like, but then again the rallye wheels are old shitty rubber, so that's no suprise.
It's really running pretty well now, I'm happy with it, I'm past the "niggles" stage I think and it's enjoyable to take out for a blat.

awesome dude bet that's a relief! but remember, its french so the niggles may continue on forever and ever and ever and.............................
You gonna plan to get new wheels/tyres then? or stick with what you got and work around the rubbing?

In all likelihood, VTS rims for the road, rallye steels and Ao48's for track days.

This, in relation to both engine transplants and taking photos.
