Whats the difference between the 3G and the 3GS?

not alot tbh mate had both, the 3g s has vid and more gb but day to day use is the same

3gs is faster due to better processor(starting and closing apps, flicking between screens), has a better camera, video out the box, compass.
I got a 3gs over the 3g as i was getting it for free and it is noticeably faster than my 2g/3g but if it came to costing money i would probably have went with the 3g
