Netbooks - Help
Okkkk so i want a netbook but im quite picky..
I want the best spec for moneys like everyone else.
Max 400 bobs has to be 11.6" or smaller no bigger
I want a decent graphics card which is quite hard to find on a netbook.. none of these graphic accelerators gma or whatever lol..
Ive found..
Acer Ferrari One
http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/laptops/0,...03769-1,00.htm
Is it bad that i actually like the looks... and i do hate people that wear Ferrari hats..
Anyway.. it supports 4GB of ram, has a half decent Ati Radeon graphics card and get lots of space which again is a must have.. 250gb is respectable. && supports external graphics card.
I currently have a 15.4" lappy with 2.0ghz dual core running 64bit windows 7 and 8gb of ram but need a smaller option as its driving me mad karting it around at uni..
So is there anything better out there? Any help greately appreciated.

Why do you want a half decent graphics card when you wont be playing games? :s
Does not compute.

This.
netbooks are for light work - internet browsing, emails, office work.
so the specs are pretty minimal.

I would like to be able to play games if i want too, that laptop can handle modern warefare according to cnet obs on low details.
Looks gash but ive been looking and comparing specs and decided i will buy it and hopefully rehouse it in an aspire one housing if they are the same or get a sticker.
Also im putting my adobe full studio on there. Ie premier pro, indesign ps, dreamweaver ectttttt

If you want something that can play games I wouldn't really recommend a Mac. The only games I have installed on mine are WoW and Spore. I fail

Most if not all notebooks dont come with a dvd drive for your games, and if you get an external one, with the specs of a notebook your gameplay is going to be gash unless your playing that card game

Im buying an external, and remember you can crack games so once installed i wont need the cd to execute the file. Its going to be used for everything really, i just want the best spec netbook i can get or mini laptop for £400 max.
Graphics card is one of the things i want, i dont want to settle for a graphics accerlator, i simply want the option to be able to play games if i choose too (dont suggest a psp i have two) lol.

Im one of these people that likes something that works at a reasonable speed, every note book with atom and 1gb ram ive used have irritated me beyond beleif.
The Ferrari one offers everything i need bar the gash housing which i will hopefully replace.

Most come with an intel Atom cpu, you can get the best graphics card out for your netbook, but with that cpu, you are not going to be gaming.

It doesnt have an intel Atom like the rest and supports 3X'S the Ram 800 MHZ, im also thinking of buying a 500GB 7200 RPM HD for it eventually rather than the 5400 RPM.
The costs will mount up but it will be mega quick for its size as it is.
Processor details below
Clock speed 1.2 GHz
Processor type Athlon X2 L310
Processor manufacturer AMD
Noticably less than others but the Atom is single core + they support less ram.
Also im putting windows 7 64bit ultimate on it.
The netbook can play games .. Cnet have played Modern Warfare 1 on it with not so many niceties.. read the review.
Tbh i think ive answered my own question though.
Sadly there isnt a nice looking netbook thats anywhere near the spec of this one. But atm they are not designed for what i want it for.. in the future though they will be.
