Which antivirus to use?
Been a while since Ive kept up on them, used to use AVG and malwarebytes. Brothers looking for an antivirus so need to get him one, which ones the best right now?

I use Kaspersky on the laptop and PC. No idea which one but it seems to do the job

I use Avast and have done for a long time now, also using malwarebytes along side it.

I've used avast for quite a while now and had no problems with it so thats my recommendation, also Microsoft essentials is really good of what i've heard.

Microsoft security essentials, don't bother with any other shit.
It's free and works better than anything else, and the definitions get updated as part of windows update.

Your Mcafees and AVGs are usually all you need. I tend to find if you know what your doing on your PC with regards to what Not to download, you're ok. Its when im fixing someone elses that i use MalwareBytes to flush ou any Extra shit that A-V's might not find.

Avast / AVG + CCleaner and superantispyware for general cleaning.
