Setting Up a Wireless Network for Xbox - Saxperience

so few of us at work now have egg boxes, want to set it up on a network so we can all play each other, no chance of internet, so guessing its a LAN needed to be set up, how do you do it?! just buy a wireless router and plug in and search?

any help be fantastic

Probably be easier doing it with ethernet cables and a switch, don't need a router.
How close to each other will the xbox's be? Any chance of connecting them with ethernet cables.

Are they many games on the 360 that allow you to play Multiplayer on a Local LAN? Thought most of them needed Live...
