This requires drilling and tapping the cylinder head on the JP4/S
Also, you MUST get a remap, the J4 ECU doesn't know the engine you have has biggger valves and different cam profiles. People will tell you it works, yes it'll run but it'll never have the correct power.
Despite what anyone tells you, fitting j4 cams to a JP4 is a total waste of time.

I've bought a C2 VTS engine am I correct in assuming this is a JP4S with the better valves etc, I have been told to swap the springs over from the Saxo VTS but I'm not sure it's needed.
I also have a C2 VTR engine & was thinking of putting the Saxo VTS cams in that will that make any differences?

The C2VTS (JP4S) springs should be fine. If they're green, you don't need to change them

No idea what engine is in a C2 VTR, but you can be sure that "fast road" cams for that engine will be better than any OEM retrofit.
Yes the ECU's require a remap
No, I've no idea who's near you that can do it

C2 VTR is the JP4.
You can use J4 cams but they're slightly off centre of the lifters. No biggy, just wear quicker.
